Hypertrophic Potentiator PWO shake

    I was just wondering if all of the supplements in the PWO shake in the CBL book are really necessary. If they will make a significant difference then I’ll go out and buy everything, but if not then I don’t wanna waste my money. I was thinking about just using the caffeine, whey isolate, and creatine. Would adding leucine, hydrolysate, or casein really make that much of a difference in regards to muscle gain and/or fat loss? The only supplement I’ve used is whey isolate so I don’t have experience with these other supplements.

    No, save money, although leucine may be a good investment. If you get pure L-Leucine, they’re pretty cheap. But what you have right now is good, I don’t think all the fancy ingredients make that big of a difference. If any, it’s probably very very very minor.

    I’ve been using 5g leucine, 5g creatine and 25g protein with pretty good results. I’m thinking of experimenting with adding 10-12g Dextrose.
