Hello,I was just wondering what some good carbs are for immediately after working out. I know Kiefer recommends Dextrose but I can't seem to locate any without ordering online. I know that Kiefer also recommends very brown bananas, but I didn't plan well so I don't have any. I have a workout tomorrow and was just hoping for some more options.Thanks, Matt G.
Dextrose is actually dirt cheap, even if you do have to order it online. Other options include white bread, jelly beans, and white rice. Anything with a very high GI score is good. Brown bananas can do the trick, but I don't get why he suggests them so often considering their GI is moderate.
