DefianceMemberDon't trust T-Nation regarding Indigo. They're the ones selling it. Ofc they're gonna say it's the best thing ever.Almost every article published on the website now is nothing but an excuse to plug in their biotest products at the end of the article.Look for other people's opinion on it to compare with T-Nation.Shelby Starnes was given Indigo to test it, and he didn't notice anything at all from it.

nickl413MemberThere are lots of indigo logs on the T-nation forums. Many with before and after pics. I haven't seen any insane transformations. The people do look much better in their after shots buts its after many months of work. The same could be done with the right diet and exercise plan.

CptSmashMemberThe Indigo-3G is touted by T-Nation as one of their top supplements, but I'm pretty sure it's more of a sales pitch than anything right now. Nevertheless I wanted to try it, so I found the key ingredient on Amazon.com (Cyanidin-3-Glucoside or C3G) for 100.00 dollars. So I bought a bottle. Here's some info on the CG3: http://examine.com/supplements/Cyanidin/ Further references are at the bottom of the article. I'm not backing much on improvements with this supplement, but I had to see it for myself. The doses used in many studies are way too high for human consumption, so I plan on increasing the dose over time. Currently, taking 2x500mg caps after training, and another 2x500mg caps (30 minutes prior) to back load to see if it has any overall or cumulative effects. In any case it's an awesome anti-oxidant, and I might have some very expensive urine for the month.I had planned on utilizing this supplement during vacation in order to avoid gaining a lot of excess wait, but I waited to long to run a test run through in a controlled environment, so we'll see if it does anything at all.

pshannonMemberHey man experimentation is always a good thing. However, I would try and do it as close to prescribed on T-nation to actually do a comparison. I know that its not the “exact” same supplement, so for the best results/evidence it might be good to follow this.

DougackGuestGot three bottles from an auto-ship that I will sell you at a deal. Never even opened the box it came in. Did Indigo for several months, went off of it with an injury but didn't cancel my autoship in time.

Yes, that's true. I'm following part of their protocol for the most part, but I plan on ramping up how much C3G that I'm going to use post workout, since I only have two meals prior to training, and those are all fat and protein meals.I may start taking in 4 capsules prior to working out, but they're only protein fat meals, so the insulin response will be dulled anyway, and the primary action is on the glucose transporters...I'm more concerned with my levels of consumption after the workout. The bioavailability of the main supplement isn't that great, so I'm thinking T-Nation's brand has something like the Listerol included in the supplement to increase bioavailability. However, I also don't want to just start taking in 16+ pills a day if 4 pills will work just fine.

Gl;itch.eMemberOP how much experience do you have with CBL? you may not be able to distinuish the benefits of the supplement over the effects of CBL if you havent been using this diet for long enough. Personally I think everything Biotest claims you get from I3G you can get from this type of eating plan anyway.

TheDanParticipantI've tried other ” nutrient repartitioners” and c3g. Did absolutely nothing for me on a standard low carb high fat and protein diet. ( this was before I knew about cns or cbl ) I actually had better results the first time I ran the diet without supplements but my body fat was also higher.

I wouldn't expect much impact from a repartitioner on a low carb diet. Dougack, when is your timeline for selling the 3 pack? I'd be interested.(I had very solid results with Indigo but nothing is more efficacious than a dialed-in diet and workout programme. Too many people try I3G before getting either in order.)

I've tried moderate to high carb as well, just made me fat. Not knocking the the product but I haven't seen anyone get good results. I don't know anyone who tried indigo either maybe it is different, maybe not.

DougackGuestSorry, CR – PShannon beat you to the punch. The product repartitions carbs. I wouldn't be overly surprise if one didn't have results from a high protein, low carb diet while on Indigo - unless you cycled the carbs correctly and added the peri- protocols necessary for the Indigo to work when taken prior to training.I felt like I got results off of it, but I'm not lean enough to justify the benefits for the cost - and then I found CBL, which is much easier for my life style....PShannon should be able to provide a much better answer to the "does it work" question than I. I did notice a big difference when I went to the maintenance dose vs the loading dose...fyi.
