Even though Kiefer states that IF is basically inferior to CBL isn't the CBL protocol essentially IF? The protocol suggests an AM accelerator shake consisting of 10 g whey, coffee and tbsp of coconut oil and then not eating until 12 or 1 PM. Isn't this essentially IF or am I missing something? Majority of cals coming at night etc.
I'm actually not that familiar with intermittent fasting, but most IF protocols have you fasting for 16 hours. With CBL you fast only for about 12 hours. Also with true IF, you don't have anything in your fasting period.
