Has Kiefer discussed at any point salt intake on cbl/cns? I recently stumbled upon a book called "Eat for Heat" while searching for a remedy for cold hands and feet which I get every time I'm low carbing and the author who I'll admit seems a bit 'off' touches upon a topic that I'm very familiar with which is water conductivity (it was my first science project) and how drinking too much water with no sodium to go with it depletes the cells, via osmosis (intracellular fluid vs extracellular fluid), of their capacity to produce energy because they become less conductive. in short if you balance your sodium it helps keep the water outside the cells, where it should be, preventing the contents of the cells from diluting and making them more efficient in energy production and keeping you warm and energetic not to mention it helps with achieving that vascular look I know Creatine is a salt of sorts and it help you retain water in a different place than regular salt does, I also remember reading that part of the reason so much water is recommended is because on low carb diets the body doesn't store as much water since its not packing it with carbs BUT from what I'm now reading if all that water does not have any sodium to help balance it out then you're just robbing the cells of their ability to do their job. I believe this goes hand in had with Kiefer's detox protocol with fish oil to improve cell surface health because if your cell's surface is healthy but the contents are leaking out due to too much water and not enough sodium then the cell's are not doing their job either way. so.... has he discussed this somewhere and I've missed it?the book is called Eat for Heat by Matt Stone (http://180degreehealth.com/)
