I guess I have another newbie question.I have been hammering a pretty consistent level of caffeine starting starting in the morning with coconut/coffee/protein drink and going into the afternoon stopping around 3pm.  Starting around noon I have been hitting L-Carnitine and Rasberry Ketones as a non-stimulant fat burner.  I have been told that it should release fat and in the afternoon it's my workout time so it's energy.  Anyone taking or suggesting some fat burners?  Preferably the cheaper inexpensive non-proprietary kind.  Or, I'm guessing caffeine is the only Keifer approved fat burning.

Raspberry ketones are useless.Carnitine may have beenfits, but I doubt it's really much.Yohimbine HCL actually seems to work pretty well for getting really lean.Ephdra works, a classic ECA stack is a cheap and effective. Nicotine works well, and it my onion is also one of the best nootropic around. http://nicotinedeclassified.com/?hop=dhpress

Thanks for the input. Btw, I glanced at your log/thread on these forums.  Great job, Trevor!!!I went from 220 to 198 on the 2 months of Insanity last year.  I did another BB program and got down to 185ish and now I'm a gym rat.  Switched to CBL instead of the 6 small meals and loving it.  13%ish BF in my 40s.Now I play around with certain tweaks while keeping the core concepts of CBL.

Can you stack Yohimbine with Caffeine and Nicotine? Isn't Yohimbine normally recommended when you are already in lower bf%? .

You don't have to use it with low levels of body fat, I never really seen where its a must. You could stack all them together but I would be cautious.

Trev is of course in fine form. However me being the anal-retentive SOB that I am I like to throw a healthy dose of confusion and analytics into the fray. So.... How do you define fat burner? Because I could make a case that anything that supports or boosts metabolic rate could be viewed as a fat burner. In which case things like thyroid and sodium (mitochondrial uncouplers) make excellent "fat burners"

this isnt my post, but all forms of yohimbre bark are all alpha receptor antagonists.

I think the reason it is generally recommended for lower bodyfats is because alpha 2 receptors are generally whole-body rather than male/female fat accumulation patterns.  And people notice the most (visually and percentage wise) progress around the waist/love handle/hips area...So if your looking to lose the last little bit of your calves or triceps then maybe yohimbre is a good choice, otherwise there are better stimulants for sexed based fat accumulation.

Here is another seemingly good metabolic enhancer. I've not personally tried it yet but I may need to try some in my AM bulletproof coffee.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23179202

Thanks for the info on the capsaicin. I tend to drown my tuna and chicken in Tabasco but I might look into a cayenne supplement too.

As someone who lives in Australia how can I formulate an ECA stack? Yohimbe is banned substance which means I must focus on alternatives. I've often thought of using Nicotine but have no idea how/what qualtities etc. How old/new is that picth from Kiefer?

The Nicotine Declassified eBook is the most current and good idea to own.

I know its not as sexy as spending hundreds of dollars on a bunch of supplements but have you tried dieting and exercise? All the fat burners in the world wont help you (and can actually hurt your progress) if diet and exercise isnt optimized.
