Test it out and see what ratio is the best for you. If your 1:1 right now try .75:1 if that doesn't work try .5:1. I just started CNS and I'm currently eating whatever I want and not counting or worrying about ratios or cals.

I find it best to say off the scales until the morning of your carbnite.. curiosity can kill the diet. I get discouraged when I weigh myself throughout the week, even if I feel lean, the scale never goes down until the end of the week for me. Also if I eat something like mayo or shit with soybean or heavy amounts of plant oils I can literally feel my body get inflamed and makes me feel fat as hell.

Similiar experience here, I usually  feel lean mid week but my scale weight jumps up like 5+ pounds then the morning of my CN I'm down from my last CN and it's a breathe of relief.

Y'all…I wouldn't worry about the scale, it's a good (not great) indicator of some progress BUT if the mirror is showing something different, your clothes are fitting way better, and tape measurements are improving. Then you're making progress. If you're curious then wait till the morning of a CN.

I feel 'plumper' after a carb night for around 5 days and then I seem deflate by day 6/7.

I'm to the point I only feel chubby until I drop the Cosby kids at the pool, then I just feel full and tight. I think it's a matter of getting lean enough and the fact I've found the carbs that work best for me.

Carb night is Friday for me I am on my 4th week of CNS getting discouraged 49 years old 185 lbs. 21% fat per bodpod. As a longtime lowcarber this diet is easy for me. I am not going to get on the scale out of fear. Is it normal to feel even fatter on Monday Tues Wed than I felt last week?. Should I be looking at 4-6 months to see results? I am a very young 49 male. But obviously not a patient 49.

Some days, maybe when I am bloated or holding some water or something, I feel fatter / nasty.  Just like some days I feel like I am too fucking small (muscle-wise), despite people telling me how big I look.  On those days, out comes the tape measure... to ensure my muscles are still the same size.  LOL.  Know what?  I've never measured on days like those and found that I've lost muscle! It's all in the mind.Literally, the next day, I may feel tight, full and hard... and HUGE (good huge).Cory
