You will stay ketogenic, but you will provide the liver with some glycogen which the brain loves to use for glucose. Resulting in better sleep.
Thats a neat idea and if people could get over their fear of fructose might be able to help for a "healthier" way of going ULC for burning fat. Prevent the stress and catabolic hormones from kicking up too high and maximize fat burning and muscle retention.

i actually just started doing something like this.. before bed I have 1/2 tbls of raw honey with a tbls of apple cider vinegar mixed in some water

CBachelor17MemberSans- why the ACV? Just wondering because if you are doing it as a natural sleep aid Tart Cherry works much better. Its like a natural melatonin in the body.

ACV is more for gut health.. i used to use tart cherry not to long ago may try it again although it didn't seem to do much for me before

It wouldnt be anywhere near the size of a normal post training backload, but Id put the cap around about 100-150g which is the total capacity of the average livers glycogen stores.

I'd agree with this.My ULC days always have about 30-50g of carbs at the end of the night, normally from pumpkin and apple sauce, plus some veggies. Plus some Raw honey and dark chocolate.I noticed I just feel a lot better doing that and it doesn't seem to interfere with fat loss at all.

I would certainly start low when experimenting with it. 30-50g sounds reasonable to start at. Interesting that Trevor has been doing something similar. What made you try that Trev? Did you notice improved sleep and recovery as well?

Well probably not, that is the Max you could utilise. I would certainly start low when experimenting with it. 30-50g sounds reasonable to start at. Did you notice improved sleep and recovery as well?Well even though I do decrease volume and frequency when going ULC, I still train really intensely and I just felt like shit after 1 day ULC. So I added the honey and it helped a bit with sleep, but I still couldn't recover at all and I felt stupid because no matter how much fat I ate or MCT's I used I was foggy so I just started adding a small amount of carbs from berries, apple sauce, dark chocolate, and pumpkin at night to get some carbs hoping to at least get some liver glycogen for brain funcation
