MaxeeeKeymasterhey guys, just wanted to let you know that CNS ist the best "diet" I have tried so far. In the last 4 weeks I lost about 3.6 kg of pure fat and was even able to pick 0.4 kg of muscles. not a lot but hey, CNS is for fat loss, and I will take care of muscle building when I am at my ideal weight.and after a few days it is sooo easy to eat ultra low carb! I have no cravings whatsoever 🙂 I just make sure I eat enough healthy fats (a lot of coconut oil, ghee) and high quality, organic meat, eggs and fish.the carb night are the "hardest" part for me. even when I indulge in all the carb food, I dont feel well with all the carbs and wait for the night to go by 😉ps: oh, and I forgot to mention that I feel the best I ever had with ultra low carb 🙂 and I have the flattest tummy I have eeever had!

FairyGuestWoohooo!!!So glad to hear it Maxee 🙂 I was like that with the first few carb nites, but after a while you learn how much is enough and you learn how to enjoy it rather than just mindlessly stuffing yourself and then feeling physically terrible ....So what I'm saying is it only gets better 😉

Brandon D ChristParticipantI'm glad you are doing well. Unless you never picked up a weight before, .4 kg of muscle in 4 weeks isn't too shabby of gains.I will have to concur on the Carb Nite, I feel like I am on drugs when I have one and it makes sleep terrible.

Cory McCarthyMemberI feel like I am on drugs when I have one and it makes sleep terrible.
+130 minutes into my first carb meal, I heat up like an oven. I tend to be clammy the rest of the night and while I sleep. I use the word sleep lightly, b/c I have the most horrid dreams (also very surreal) on my CNs, and I tend to wake a lot. One of the reasons I do them on Saturdays, so I can recover my sleep quality before work on Mondays.Cory

I get nightmares when I backload. I wake up usually at least two times.

I take 1-2 days of rest from lifting post-carb nite, aside from HIIT cardio for 30-minutes in the AM.Cory

FairyGuest@Cory Oh, okay. I thought we need to deplete glycogen stores as soon as possible post CN?

Yes, that is correct. However, I do that using cardio.Cory

FairyGuestThe thing about muscle glycogen is sprinting for example only depletes the glycogen from your leg muscles and not your upper body

True, so you need to get your entire body involved in a form of cardio.I tend to rely on my martial arts background, and box / kickbox pads or a heavy bag. Wonderful cardio, HIIT-style, as well as practicing my striking power and technique (incredibly useful before my fights b/c it is sport specific).Cory

katParticipantJust wanted to throw my comment in: I've been on CNS for two weeks – have had two carb nights (on Saturdays) – and feel like shit until Tuesday! I'm thinking I am overdoing it with the junk and sugar, but am going to wait it out for another couple of weeks and see where I am. As much as I enjoy the *junk* going in my mouth, I sure hate the feeling afterward!
