So I'm starting carb nite this Saturday and have a few rookie questions. I've read both CBL and carb nite and am a little confused!     1. For ULC days I should avoid plant and nut fats and focus on animal fats, grass fed butters/beef, coconut and mct oils?    2. Do I take WPI and luecine after workouts on CN? Or just WPI?    3. Do you still skip breakfast for the 12-14 hour window? Or go ahead and eat upon waking?    4. Casein before bed okay?

    1) Yes2) Both as a PWO Shake every time you train3) It's up to you and goals. I'd say have the coffee and oil at the 12th hour and make sure not to go without a whole food longer than 14 hour4) Yes, whole food is better

Okay thanks Big Tex!Also, if I don't go to bed till around 2 and wake up at 9:30-10 am. Would my carb nite start 6-8 hours before my bed time or still in earlier in the eveninig?

I think the best would be to start with your CN directly after your workout when you train in the evening with a PWO Shake and some dextrose. If you work out early or don't work out on your CN you have to find out what works best for you. Some eat till they hit the sack and others need some time before getting to sleep.

Okay I'll do that, I'm mainly trying to maintain bw/ possibly increas LBM and maybe get lower body levels of fat, so I figured a lot of this would be trial and error. A little nervous to get started, any good starting advice for prep phase?
