So I've been an athlete all my life and competed in the CF Games until I blew out my back pretty badly doing some OH Squats about 2 years ago. Had to take 6 months off the gym & put on a good amount of weight. Now trying to take it back off.Have done everything from a strict Paleo/Primal Diet to Atkins. I love meat, and can live without veggies.A few friends have recommended CNS and I'm going to give it a go. A bit worried since it says to train at 3-4pm. I usually get up around 7-8am and have a cup of coffee and head straight to the gym. Not really sure where to start. Going to try and keep it simple. I love doing HIIT workouts (left over from CF days) but I guess I'm not supposed to do to much of that? Just lift & lift heavy? As a female, I know what types of food to eat, I guess I'm a bit lost on just how much to eat.Any help is appreciated. I usually do a 3 day on/1 day off training regimen.Pretty excited about this!!! And thanks in advance for all the advice!Cheers!Ann

Working out in the morning is fine, especially how you're doing it with just coffee. Sorry about your back, but typical CF.

    That's your best bet.
