Just bought CBL a few days ago and started prepping yesterday. Not sure what to expect and the more I read threads on here the less I understand…anyone feel me? Anyways, super excited to see how CBL works out for me. If anyone has advice for me or your own stories/motivation/things to know feel free to share with me. 8)
As the guys have said, eat lots of quality animal fat and protein. Stock up on coconut oil & grass fed butter. Sleep lots & drink lots of water (your body is busy transforming!).
Also, you will probably feel crappy a few days into the prep phase just like Keifer talks about in the book. Push through it, it goes away once your body converts to run on fat instead of carbs. For me day 2 and 3 were bad. I was tired and couldn't think clearly. Big time switch halfway through the day on day 4. Your days might not be the same but it most likely will happen.
Yeah its day two and I felt pretty bad in the gym. Gonna go pick up so avocados later tonight. From what I understand, a lot of the fat should be from the meats and try to lay off the flavored nuts right?
