Which TubeCast did Kiefer mention this in? I'm sure this is what I thought he said in a recent video. If this is the case, butter + coffee is not a sufficient way to break the fast. Yet, we are not supposed to consume glucose, and leucine should only be used post workout for optimal fatloss . . . What is the ideal way to break the fast at the 14 hr mark? Please reference Kiefer because I keep getting mixed messages on thisย :-
Hey I don't have a refference handy here at work but if you look up on the DH page kiefer has those two IF articles and rxplains the need for leucine from animal protein or an am acclerator shake
I remember that too. As you said, just the fat doesn't break the fast sufficiently. I remember an article, in which Kiefer mentions that not the overall protein content, but the leucine content of the food is important. I think it was in one of those earlier articles, like "protein super-dosing".
Okay. Bacon & eggs it is ๐ What's the fasting limit 14 hrs, 16 hrs?
Depends on who you ask.ย I would say if you are concerned about muscle growth 12 hours.ย Someone like yourself might be able to get away with 16 hours.
Oh, and forget everything I said about not wanting to look muscular. I want strength & vitality more, so will have to suck it up… But yeah, avoiding hypertrophy ranges!!
