Is low-fat cottage cheese good to have about 1 hour before bed?  I noticed it in Kiefer's plan on off days.  Thoughts?

It is fine at any meal for protein. Watch the serving size as it does contain carbs and they can add up quickly when you need to stay under 30.

Yeah, and that was my concern.  The carb portion of it.  What I have been doing for a snack before bed on my ULC days is a cheesestick.  Thoughts?

I've noticed that the 4% cottage cheese has fewer carbs and actually tastes better! Plus the added fat isn't a bad thing for me as I'm usually a bit low on that anyway.

Yeah the taste difference between low fat and normal cottage cheese is night and day to my taste buds, the normal stuff is SO much tastier. And less carbs, so win win!  😀

I had cheesesticks as a staple for a while and I started stalling. Watch your dairy intake and you should be fine. I went from having them everyday to once and a while and I was fine. It seems that over 5oz a day of dairy is when people stall.
