Definitely, glucose should be great πŸ™‚ Glucose and Dextrose are just isomers of the same molecule. Glucose is treated just like dextrose in the presence of insulin, and if you're backloading properly, you're probably good for that πŸ˜€ Fructose is the one to limit (eg. no soda/corn syrup)

Corn syrup is good; it's that pesky High-Fructose Corn Syrup that we want to avoid.

Haha, so true πŸ˜€ Sorry, in england they don't always specify the type of corn syrup used (and luckily it isn't used that often), so I just put down the box if it says corn syrup on πŸ™‚

I did not know that!Β  Here in the U.S. they're a bit stricter on labeling, though I imagine some slip through the cracks.Β  That's good to know for our UKers on board.

Yeah, although HFCS isn't generally used here, the labelling is awful πŸ˜€ They don't even label transfat grams :/ Cheers, it's good to feel welcomeΒ  ;D

They have ways of getting around listing trans fats here too.Β  If it's less than .5g per serving, then they don't have to list it as trans fat.Β  It gets written on the ingredients list as hydrogenated oil, and sometimes I suspect companies don't even write the hydrogenated part.Β  Probably explains why so many people on CBL eat fruity pebbles despite it containing trans fats.Anyways, cheers and welcome!

Ahh, damn, when I went over to America last year I lived off fruity pebbles on my backloads πŸ˜€ I guess the only way to be sure is to make stuff yourself πŸ™‚

Thanks bigR'.... what is wrong with them two meals? Not enough fat?

You could douse the tuna and chicken in olive oil or the brocolli with butter - they're two of my favourite ULC meals. Get a good block of decent butter though, not that horrible lurpak spreadable stuff (and actual butter, no flora!).
