billnycParticipantYour plan sound very similar to this one:http://www.bulletproofexec.com/rapid-fat-loss-protocol/
During his diet you eat no protein during the non-refeed day and have a ton of carbs protein on refeed day.

Tracy JarchowParticipantI'm quite interested in this experiment.I too have thought about cycling CNS with CBL throughout my four week cycle of 5/3/1. Using standard CNS with a maintenance amount of calories on my week 1 and 2, CBL during my heavy week 3 and lower than maintenance calories on my week 4 deload week.

I've been doing large caloric deficits on my low carb days.I've been eating carbs/chicken breast until I'm stuffed and cannot eat anymore on my carb nites. I've been screwing up the carb nites by not going the full 6-8 hours but I just reached the point where I cannot force any more food down.I'm still tweaking the frequency of my carb nites but I'm in some sort of weird grey area between carbnite and carb backloading so I'm not sure what to call what I'm doing.Anyway, I'm logging my experiment here if you are interested in my data.http://athlete.io/forum/index.php?topic=18068.0

You don't need to go the full 6-8 hours...especially if your body is saying hey I am full no more. You can eat smaller portions every hr to 1 1/2 hrs if you want to go the full length. As long as you are getting in some carb heavy foods I wouldn't be too concerned.

Thanks, this is good to know. I was afraid that I would not get the full hormonal benefit (especially the big leptin rise) if I didn't make it at least 6 hours.
