NoBread4MeParticipantHi guys,Maybe this is not the right place for it, but figured it is worth it giving it a shot. I have already for over two years every day some weird soar pain in my legs, mainly calves. It gets a bit more intense after I train. I started taking magnesium and feeling got better for sure but it is still there. Do you guys have other suggestions? Last night got cramps too and it was undoable. Started taking chlorella and a kale shake with kale, celery, cucumber, coconut oil, creatine, whey and oregano every morning some days ago so that might have to do with it since I got diarrhea because of it which might lead to a deficiency maybe?*please dont say i should visit a doc because they told me already i have cfs which means they cant find the cause imo. I am already in cognitive treatment for this. Made a lot of progress myself though with nutrition and supplements and want to keep doing it. ThanksSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Richard SchmittModeratorMy assumption would to be up salt and water intake. Maybe even dome Epsom salt soaks.

NoBread4MeParticipantI take already quite a lot of himalayan salt with water every day. Will try the baths. I did it in the past months a few times and did find it very relaxing, after a while I just ''forgot'' about it since everything was going fine. It was already on my list of new things to do, so will def do it now.Do you think it might have to do with potassium??

TCBParticipantCould also try some nightly myofascial work, like foam rolling or trigger point stuff. And add in some calf stretches, making sure to hit the calves from a stretched position, as well as contracted.Pair that with Vit D, sodium, potassium, and magnesium, and you should find some relief.

NoBread4MeParticipantVitamin D: checkSodium: checkMagnesium: checkSo yeah, will try potassium for sure. Yeah stretches help, will do them more often. Your myofascial stuff seems good, but right now that would be a bit expensive for me. Will def keep it in mind! I feel chances though that it has something to do with a trigger point seem so small since it is so chronic and comes with the fatigue. My suspicion right now is that it has to do with my gut/nutrient deficiencies. I refuse to believe its chronic ;D Thanks a lot man, really appreciate it.

Check your grocery store and pick up some Morton Lite Salt.. It's 50/50 sodium/potassium. I add it to my coffee, preworkout, and sometimes my water.Foam Rolling and trigger point work isn't expensive. You do it yourself. You can get a foam roller at Walmart for like $9, and a lacrosse ball at a sporting goods store for under $3. Then it's just inflicting pain on yourself.

GonnaBeGiantMemberIs your pain a constant cramp or only when you stretch the calf or leg?

NoBread4MeParticipantFor a year now I wake up with some weird feeling in my calves and sometimes legs. Before it would become less during the day, now it pretty much disappears. The really intense cramp was only yesterday night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

NoBread4MeParticipantDid find 33 sodium/66 potassium only so did buy that. Will add some to my meals and also together with my magnesium which I take when I wake up and before I go to bed.

NoBread4MeParticipantStarted feeling much worse after taking it. Did quit it and felt better. Did read in a book about adrenal fatigue (which i might have but not sure) that potassium salt is very bad so that might have been it. Was worth a try though.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TCBParticipantHave you tried different types of docs? Perhaps a good physio, a naturopath, a chiropractor, or a massage therapist would be a better option. Or possibly some chinese-style medicine like acupuncture may help.

Charles T GrimsleyMemberDo you do any sort of mobility work?

GonnaBeGiantMemberI'm interested in this. Can you see the muscle cramp? Like almost a “rippling motion”?
