RussiBKeymasterHey guys,First off, thanks for being amazing - the support here is off the chart, really appreciate it all.I've been reading up on the forums and searching for some info regarding my first Carb Nite tomorrow as I have to admit I am a bit nervous about f*ing it up - I've read the manual several times over but appreciate some of the info has been optimised so had a couple of questions I would like to turn over to you guys.On my Carb Nite should I still be looking to maintain 1:1 F:P of target weight for the entire day? I read that some people like to give themselves a bit of a break and allow for a takeaway (curry, pizza etc.) on carb nite - is that okay as long as that meal comes a bit later in the evening i.e. keeping first two meals low fat?Last question - I won't be working out tomorrow as I had a big superset session in the gym today and am working remotely, so is Whey Isolate and Dextrose intake as my first meal tomorrow (4pm) a good idea?I'd love to see what people would recommend for my CN - I am currently 231lbs @35% BF (according to my scales but take with a pinch of salt), aiming for 180lbs. I'm in the UK so some of the US foods may be hard for me to find but I will try and find alternatives.Appreciate your helpRuss

webbyMemberKeep the 1:1 only in the first part of the day like any other day where you'd be ULC.When you start your carb nite, WPI and dextrose would be great as it should cause a big spike. What you might want to do though is postpone your CN to a day after the gym so that you get the muscle building benefits of the insulin and carbs after you've lifted?Other than that, enjoy it, keep your first meal clean (very little fat) then later on in the evening it's pretty much no holds barred....keep away from trans fats though!

samuel r walkerParticipantLike webby said, If your lifting I would schedule it for after a work out, I take the day before my carb nite off then get a heavy session in the day of before I start loading.. as for effing it up, at your weight and bf% youll have much more room for error, so enjoy!

ULC should be 1:1, once CN begins just keep intaking protein throughout the night w/ your CN foods. The first meal should be low-fat, high-carb, high-protein. Good carb ideas (that I use) include angelfood cake and glucose-based candies (where possible). Whole Foods Market sells great options, all-natural. I know you guys got those stores over in the UK. Not sure where you are located, but London has a number of them. The dextrose shake @ 4pm should be fine, as 4pm is a good kick-off time.Cory
