TL;DR The benefit of growth hormone for our purposes is to burn more fat, not build muscle. If that is in the article you posted, I apologize. This is why CBL uses high glycemic carbs and not low glycemic carbs, so insulin levels fall by the time GH is released.

The point is that having some oats, does not prevent GH release it just prolongs it...

If you have a little bit, then no, suppressed GH will not be an issue. If you are making oats the staple in your carb backload, then you will have a problem.

True, I eat 100g of oats with casein and fruit as my last meal on off days, makes me sleep better

CropsyMemberInteresting article. I remember when I started CBL it wasn't unusual for me to get the sweats the night after a carb load. In light of that article, I wonder if that might have been due to a delay in GH release (the huge carbload delayed it the night of CBL and then it was released in full force the next night to catch up)?Hmmm. Maybe. Maybe not.Anyway, haven't had the sweats in months. Weirdly, I miss them because it gave me a physical symptom that something was right.

I have NEVER heard of this. I get sweats really bad when I do have the majority of my carbs before bed, never on my ULC days....

Exactly how I feel, man. When I wake for my ritualistic "middle of the night pee", I feel much better about the night's backload if I wake up feeling sweaty and hot. If I'm not sweaty when I wake up, I feel like I didn't hit the backload quite right.
