Exactly how I feel, man. When I wake for my ritualistic "middle of the night pee", I feel much better about the night's backload if I wake up feeling sweaty and hot. If I'm not sweaty when I wake up, I feel like I didn't hit the backload quite right.
I am just going to eat my carbs at night so I dont have to turn on my heat in the winter.

It seems very hit or miss with me. Sometimes I get them, but usually I don't. I don't miss them though, I hate being hot when I have to sleep.
If I get a high enough spike I toss and turn at night and get warm. Not hot and sweaty but warm. It's nice because I'm anemic but I have so much energy I can't sleep and it just pisses me off. However, melatonin knocks me out.
