Need help with carb backload scedule!

    On my rest days I stay ultra-low carb all day.
    If I train the next day on an empty stomach, should I backload my carbs on my rest day, or should I backload my carbs on the training day before my rest day?
    Are there any negative effects when you train empty stomach and did not backload carbs the night before?

    This does depend, ideally you still want to backload your carbs at night on your training day. I would say some carbs the night before your training day is not a bad idea if you need it. Also another scenario is the type of day or job you have might leave you with less glycogen than someone who has a desk job if you have a physically demanding job.
