So I just started BL 2 days ago, and I'm wondering since I lost ~7lbs during the prep phase, is the Baseline amount of Carbs in the book the amount I'm supposed to eat after my workouts? And if so, what are the effects if I am under the 600 or so carbs?
It's just the max amount your body can store (glycogen stores) back from the amount of water weight/weight you lost. No ill effects by not meeting those numbers.
Oh ok awesome thanks man, no way I could eat that much everyday haha. And, if I train @ 2PM somedays, I should be “splurging” 2-hours after I finish my workout correct?
Honestly. No. I would have a PWO Shake sans carbs though. Then say that evening, depending on goals, could have a carb meal or go ULC. Personally, if those days you train at 2pm and it is because of the eventful evening (meaning family meet up, not an excuse to drink beer [all the time], etc) then I would enjoy the get together with a carb meal. Again goal oriented.
