colleenlagasseKeymasterHi. I am new to the concept of backloading and have recently downloaded the e book and read it twice. I am trying to put it all together and am anxious to get moving on the program, as I have heard great things about it. I am a 39 year old natural bodybuilding female. At present I weigh 140 lbs at 5'7″ with approx 10-12% bodyfat. I am trying to tailor the program to my specific needs and it is confusing for me. I train sometimes in the morning and sometimes at noontime. Given the amount of muscle I currently possess, I didn't know if eliminating all the snacks as recommended for females was appropriate for me? Also unsure of how to plan my meals given my different workout times. Any help in putting the pieces together would be greatly appreciated. As I said, I am anxious to get on my way! Thanks in advance for your help!

Jas0nGuestWelcome. Your goals would dictate the approach you want to take here. I wouldn't worry too much about the snacks however given the large amount of muscle and little fat you carry I would jump on a modified CNS with larger and more frequent carb loads if trying to recomp.Regarding meal timing - AM training day is effectively a normal CBL day except you follow your AM workout session with WPI/leucine shake (no carbs) and then have a normal late evening CBL meal that is smaller in magnitude than a full blown CBL (due to the absence of the 'anabolic window').

FairyGuestHey Colleen 🙂 I recommend that you start now, keep it simple; then tweak. There is going to be a learning curve. You won't get it right straight away. That's okay.

I believe a backload is also warranted on the night before an AM training session.
