Hey guys, thanks for having me on here. I started CBL (SA) on 5/12/13, and am loving it so far! I actually was on the fence for a minute during the prep phase as to whether I should do CNS or CBL due to my stats: 5'7 200 32% BF. But, I decided to SA CBL because my primary goal is gaining muscle, while still losing some fat. I do eventually want to be around 25% or less BF. I dieted down with a low-carb, paleo-like diet before discovering CBL and CNS, and am down 50 pounds since 2007. I have a particular aversion to looking deflated or “skinny fat” which is why I'm definitely more interested in getting “jacked” before getting “ripped.” After a month on CBL, I feel it's going pretty well, although neither the scale nor self pics have shown much progress yet. I'm pretty excited to see after 3, 6, and 12 months what CBL can do for me if I follow it consistently. What did you guys find to be helpful during the beginning of your CBL journeys?
