YoketasticKeymasterHello to all I just finished reading CNS! I'm excited to get started.I'm 29 about 235 not sure of BMI but got some chub to lose. I Train 5/3/1 four days a week and would like to get down to the 198lb class. I have been running Shelby Starnes Lean Gain Principles program. I have a basic understanding of macro-nutrition and have been using this programing for about 6 months. With that said I'm slightly confused with how to set up my daily Macro's. If I'm eating 6-7 meals per day how much Protein/Fat/Carb/Fiber per gram should I be taking in based on current BW per meal? If any one can reference an answer in the book or can shed some light on the subject that would be greatly appreciated. My current program and conditioning are set up as follows:5/3/1 Bench5x10 Press3x10 Accesory3x10 Abs5x20 Sledge I walk every day for lunch at a light pace 30-45 min just to get some blood flow and fresh air.My eating schedule on training days are as follows:08:00am Breakfast10:30am Snack01:00pm Lunch03:30pm Snack05:00pm Train07:00pm Post Workout Shake08:00pm Dinner10:30pm Snack I eat the absolute basics Chicken ,Turkey, Hamburger , Beans , Rice , Veggies , Olive Oil , Nuts Looking forward to learning more and furthering my understanding of CNS.Thanks for reading and stay Strong!Yoketastic

Well X number of meals per day really means nothing here... you could eat 2 or 3 meals a day and it be perfectly acceptable, provided your getting the correct macros. Science hasn't exactly proved 6 meals a day is better than 2. However, i do find myself eating 5/6 meals a day because that's just what happens, not necessarily what i aim for though I would prioritize "macro-nutrient timing" more than anything else. It's important to stay completely carb free or close to it during the ULC portion of the day (ultra-low carb). Of course, Kiefer does give you an allotment of 30g carbs max per day for obtaining trace amounts of carbs in certain foods... Make sure you eat enough protein and fat to preserve lean tissue.Best of Luck 8)
