I don't get to train at the ideal time but I do get an hour lunch and that is when I train at a local rec center. I go 4 times a week at 11 and once a week at noon. I try to get in on Saturdays at local home gym when I can. Anyway since training at 11 is it ok to have a preworkout shake with about 10-15 grams whey iso and 5 grams creatine? Also for my Post workout shake I usually have about 40 grams whey iso, 5 grams creatine, 5 grams leucine? I used to include about 40 grams waxy maize but I have now read to not include wazy maize since I am training at 11 and not the ideal time. Is that still correct?  Lastly, I usually throw some cinnamon in the shakes. Mostly for flavor, is this a bad idea.I am looking for Stength Accum and am about 200lbs, 5'10, right now. Have been lifting for about 8 years seriously now. Looking to thin out around the stomach and keep, add the muscle. I do train 5/3/1. Thanks for all your help, sorry about making it so long.  Only been doing it for a week but LOVE IT!!

Just do the post workout shake without carbs. In the morning before training you should probably get in some coffee with some fat or a small breakfast.

I am up at between 5 and 530 everymorning during work week and not much later during weekend. I have cup of coffee first thing when getting up with coconut oil. Then make a mug before leaving for work usually put heavy cream in that one. Drink once I get to work. Usually wait to 930 or so and then have 3 fried whole eggs with either 4 peices of sausage or a serving of pepperoni. How does that look? Then I would have my pre shake about 1030 or 1045 before lifting with 200mg caffiene in pill form. Don't have powder yet. So maybe drop the pre-shake?

Yeah drop the pre-workout, if you doing the whole low-carb phase correctly prior to lifting…you can get that Hulk Effect in the gym. If you absolutely need a pre-workout, add some MCT/Coconut Oil to the shake with 10g or protein, and caffeine.

I'm not doing a preworkout stims or anything, I am just doing the 10-15 grams whey iso with some creatine before I lift, usually around 10:30am or so.  Just wanted some protein in me before lifting is all.I don't like the whole preworkout stims if thats what you thought I was saying. They don't really seem to get me going much. To me if you can't get yourself pumped up enough once your lifting you aren't doing it right. It just seems like I am not getting enough to eat during the day for my weight, but everything seems to be working. I guess I come from the whole eating 5 to 6 meals a day and you need MAXIMUM amount of protein u can get your hands on camp. Changing like this is taking some getting used to is all. Thanks for help!  🙂

No problem, but noticed a huge problem...whey isolate with creatine prior to lifting...big no-no. If you can cut it out, it's a good idea to keep meals (during the ULC Portion) 1:1 in grams for fat and protein. thus why I mentioned 10g of whey WITH 1 TBSP of MCT or Coconut Oil.

10 4. That's why I am asking, you guys are the experts and been doing it for much longer than me. I will do that than or more than likely just cut out the pre-workout protein shake completely and stick to the eggs  with sausage or pepperoni prior to lifting then. Will look into just purchasing some MCT oil, as I have the coconut oil already and heavy cream for coffee.

Not completely necessary IMO, coconut oil is 60-70% MCT...so you'll get most of the benefits with that.
