hassan rasmiKeymasterHello everyone, I just finished reading the book and have some questions:Ok, first of all, I have a final in 10 days, and I was wondering if I should start carb depleting (prep phase) now or if I should wait just so that I don't risk not having the energy I need to study and focus etc.?Second, I don't get wether I should or shouldn't have dextrose (for e.g.) after my workout during my prep phase, or fruits, etc.? Or should I just stick to whey protein post workout?Third, how many days should I back load and how many days should I deplete?Fourth, is indulging on high GI carbs 4 nights a week feasible (for those who have been carb back loading for quite a while), as it seems to me that it's going to cost a good sum of money!THank you in advance everyone.

Zach516MemberI would wait, unless you have experiance with low carb dieting. People who have done it in the past report less of the typical keto flu symptoms. IE, tired, mental slowness, ect.I personally can't answer your second or third questions.Forth, not really. I don't think so any. Depends on what you define as high gi. White bread/potatoes/white rice, can all be bought in bulk and are not particularly expensive. It depends on the source. More fun sources, like pastries, doughnuts, ect. Those may add up, but not if you are not overdoing it.

Welcome!1) Could depend on what you want to do and if you have done low-carb before. I would yeah wait till afterwards and then focus on eating animal fats, butter, coconut oil. 2) During prep, no carbs. For a PWO shake have Blend H with Leucine and Creatine. Or just whey hydrosylates with Leucine and Creatine. 3) Again depends on your goals...not really a set amount of days. Usually after you train heavy. 4) Again depends on your goals.
