Hello everyone, Im helping my wife with CNS. She started on the Dukan diet 2 1/2 weeks ago, I didnt encourage it and told her its a b.s. diet. She did lose 7 pounds though but I told her she was going to start losing muscle. She agreed to start the CNS. I figured since she was doing the low carb for 20 days already she was due for a carb nite which was last night. She loved it btw!  Im going to lay out what she ate today just to make sure Im guiding her in the right direction. I know she needs more fat and protein but she doesnt quite grasp the concept of the diet yet. When my book comes she will start reading it. She didnt eat breakfast because she felt a little bloated from carb night and wasnt hungry yet.stats are 5'6"  146lbs  bf has to be 25-30% I would assume.breakfast 10am2 cups coffee 4 tbsp half/half11am gympost work out 1 scoop of isopure w/8 ounces of nonfat milk (add fat to the shake?)lunch2 eggs w/ 1 tbsp of butter2 chicken sausagesnack10 almondsdinnershrimp salad w/3 ounces of shrimp, sprinkle Romano cheese, 3 tbsp oil & vinegar (canola), 1/2 cup of red peppers & cucumber, mixed greens.Couple questions I have are,Are salads ok every night as long as shes using the approved veggies? She really needs the fiber. She really likes her non fat milk in her protein shake, ok?Thank you in advance.

I'm pretty new myself,  but maybe she could switch the nf milk in her pwo shake to an unsweetened almond milk? I know a serving of nf milk has about 12 grams of carbs while unsweetened almond milk has less than 1. Maybe then she can segway to water. I drink it so fast I can hardly taste it anyway.I eat salads several nights a week but I just try and limit my olive or vegetables oils to that one meal. I just try not to go over 10 grams of carbs per meal, which it's really rare if I ever go over 5 net carbs. I have been reading on here people taking psyllium husk to help with fiber and I have been considering it as I haven't been very regular on cns -I think maybe from all the cheese :). good luck to your wife! its so far been a great program for me.

I will mention the almond milk, it shouldnt be an issue. For fiber shes been taking oat bran also. Thanks.

So just black coffee 11am gympost work out 1 scoop of isopure w/8 ounces of water...sorry as Nike says "just do it'lunch2 eggs w/ 1 tbsp of butter2 pork sausageorBacon/Beef/Bacon/More Eggs w/ 1 cup of a green vegetable  snack Coffee/ Tea w/ .5 to 1 tbs of coconut oil + heavy whipping creamdinnerSame as lunch. Fatty cuts of meat. Limited vegetables.

Just a few suggestions for the MAXIMAL results. Supplement with Fiber if necessary or drink coffee.

How about almond milk instead of water? Also, any fat in the protein shake necessary?

Isopure is a fairly good tasting whey isolate. If you can fit the almond milk in under the carb limit then i guess, but its not optimal. Since your going to be eating a lot of vegetables its going to be close. No fat in the PWO shake.

The unsweetened almond milk has only 1gm of carbs per 8oz. serving. Still ok?

Got it. Any reason why it would cause her to stall out? She did say last night that veggies werent a must everyday.
