Newbie – training for 1st mens physique contest in June

    Hello  – Been doing CBL or CNS since Dec. 2012, am preparing for a mens phys. show in June.  Am 40 years old and have been using both programs since I am recovering from some MVA related injuries and cannot always lift.  I am trying to shed some lbs over all.I am training at 5pm and have some questions if anyone can help me:1.  The Hypertrophic Potentiator shake that I have with carb meals PWO - do I have to have the caffeine in the mix?2.  I mix some frozen fruit in with the PWO shake to get the HIGH-GI carb, do I do that with each shake I take, even when I am eating a pint of ice-cream or a pizza?3.  How do I thicken the shake up?  It is very watery and not sure what is ok to add?

    1) With the new Creatine article, keep caffeine away from Creatine 2) From the book, no. It gives you a detailed amount to use for a shake with a carb meal3) Ice? Less water?

    3. If not lactose-intolerant and a stickler for organic/non-processed: skim milk.
