Hey CBL'ers, got another one for you today.I'm scheduled to be done my prep this coming Sunday (the 3rd) and will have my first backload the evening after I have trained. The book suggests that the backload is to prepare for training the following day so my question is this: If I train on Sunday and Monday and have an off day on Tuesday, what will my backload look like on Monday night? From what I can gather from the book, I would eat "lightly" Monday evening, having one heavy carb meal and perhaps a lighter meal/snack later in the evening, depending on how I look/feel. Keep in mind, this is for strength accumulation.-BD

Are you training in the morning? If so I wouldn't worry about carbs on Monday night.Do you train again Wednesday? If so and in the morning have the carbs Tuesday night. If you are training in the afternoon then backload Sunday and Monday night then don't CBL Tuesday.

I'm going to stick with Kiefer's recommendation(s) and train around 4pm. My PWO shake will be around 5:15-5:30 and my first meal will preferably be around 6:15.Training will be Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday/Friday.

So for SA only CBL after training sessions. Not on off days and cycle carb amounts depending on type of training. For example I eat heaps of carbs after legs etc but not so much after shoulders.
