Is one better than the other? I bought the gym again just for the cost (getting nearly twice the servings of gum vs the lozenge (biting the gum in half, bought the 4mg pieces for 2mg servings 2x a day). Has anyone used the lozenges? Any opinions? Also saw the patches, lowest amount was 14mg over 24 hours. To me a patch would be easiest and most constant, but that dose may be much higher than wanted and needed. Any experience using items other than gum?
The concensus seems to be gum. Id be worried that a lozenge would release the nicotine too quick and would likely go to the stomach rather than the blood stream via the mouth. Patches would be too slow and also as youve mentioned too much total nicotine. Useful if you are trying to quit smoking perhaps but for our purposes not a good option.
The gum and lozenge had same directions on it. Both take about 30 mins to use. Lozenges did also note to not chew or break the tablet, it must dissolve while being stored like the gum (between cheek and gum). Just curious if anyone had tried. I may give it a shot next time I need to buy more just to experiment a bit.
