How do plant based proteins fit into the DHC/CBL protocol?  Specifically, pea protein/vegan formulations?  I can't do dairy or soy (not for ethical reasons but for medical/gastrointestinal issues).M

I know kiefer is a fan of pea protein.

I don't know about plant proteins, but I myself am allergic to whey. I prefer to use a beef protein like Carnivor, by MuscleMeds. I've had better results out of it than I have any other supplement.

Yea animal proteins are better than plant proteins.  If you can't do whey your next best option is egg protein isolate.  Beef isn't bad, but I see no reason to use it over egg.

I find the beef protein disconcerting.  It's not bad or anything, just the idea.  I had one jug of Carnivor and it was fine, but a little too sweet.  I hear that they're working on a fish protein.

http://patrickarnoldblog.com/wheres-the-beef/ I'd stay away from Beef Protein Isolate. Gemma (pea) protein works well, quite cheap to boot.
