ScruffyKeymasterAnyone on here been experimenting with nootropics? I have a lot of piracetam and cholin bitarate sitting around and I'm trying to figure out how to best use them. Hoping for boost in gym+grad school stuff.I know they are big in Russian strength athletics but most of what I've read (on bb.com mostly) is specific brands and usually doesn't use piracetam

performancedaveMemberHaha I'm actually really gettin into fooling around with Nootropics especially since starting my MPH program! So far I've noticed there are 3 routes you can generally go. There is a focus route by means Alcar, phosphatidylserine, Alpha GPC, i want to try out Alpha Brain by Onnit Labs as well. I currently don't have expierence with the likes of piracetam, but I will also chew some nicotine gum for some added focus. The next realm of nootropics are the euphoric kind, PEA, Dl phenylalanine, dendrobium extract, be sure to add some Hordenine hcl for decreasing breakdown by way of stomach acid. And finally the third realm relaxation, 5htp, l-tryptophan, GABA, Phenibut, Bacopa monnieri (careful a gram+ of this and you can get couch lock:) ) Hope this helps and if you want I will post a list of how I stack / dose some of these!

bioengineerGuestI really reacted well with the new Alpha Brain by Onnit formula – huge improvement in class. I recommend trying it out because if it doesn't work the first 30 pills are free. It is on the expensive side though at approximately a dollar a cap so it's not really worth it. Nicotine gum usually provides me with similar results in class....love that shit

FairyGuestThink I'm going to pick up some nicotine. Are there any bad health effects?

performancedaveMemberA few people on here kept bringing up that it was extremely carcinogenic but failed to link to any data, apparently organic celery contains carcinogens according to a biojacked podcast so who knows anymore!

bioengineerGuestNicotine is typically judged by comparing it to the effects of smoking despite there being a few hundred shady chemicals within a cigarette. Nicotine is a naturally occurring alkaloid similar to caffein …I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Damon AmatoParticipantI take 1/4 tsp piracetam and choline bitartrate with a tsp mct oil and water in the morning. Been doing it for a month hoping it'll help with my ADHD. Not much luck yet.
