AciDMemberWas there a specific time when you started seeing results? I've noticed, that in some cases the fat loss pattern is almost no results and then rapid fat flush about 4-5 week. Was that the same in your case? And why is that? Personally I only had one carb nite few days ago, and I don't have any results yet(hopefully).Cheers!

systemfMemberIs it your first CN? As for results(visible) I have been doing photo on the morning of CN and not worrying about the bf or scale. Honestly I feel and belive coming off of CBL(6months) that both CNS and CBL mock at the weight scale and makes it pointless. Hang in there for 4-6 weeks and see how you do. My 2cents.

AciDMemberYet, I don't use scale at all. Just measurements. First cn after almost half a year of cbl. Thanks for the input!

Richard SchmittModeratorResults for everyone is different. Some can do CNS for a week or two and get noticeable results. Other for CBL can see it in the week. Or could be a while before any progress is made. It happens.

I see results (on the scale) every week. I also feel my clothes fitting better, and in more places. As bodyfat % drops, visual results get more and more pronounced. It is sort of a gradual thing, so you won't notice it as much as a person who hasn't seen you in a while. Also, remember, there is a murky area btw. 16% bodyfat and 11-12% bodyfat, in most guys, that is just depressing. It looks like nothing is happening, and then BAM! You hit 11-12%, and drastic difference.Cory

Cory McCarthyMember…it also helps to keep a photo log. Then, you will see the differences that you don't notice simply day-to-day or week-to-week.Cory

Sweet.Your abs should be coming in as you approach 10%. What is your ultimate goal?Cory

AciDMemberI have pretty visible abs, just the 2 last cubes are hidden :]My goal - Get to single digits, ideally to ~7-8% than switch to CBL and start building up again.

I'd say get down to 10%, and then switch to a modified CNS (2 a week - Wed. / Sat.). Increase training volume to compensate.Cory

Zach516MemberThat's not much. You could be retaining water. Have you been getting enough electrolytes and drinking more water? I had results right away.
September 28, 2012 at 4:38 am #85141
AciDMemberHow am I supposed to ingest these electrolytes? I am drinking a lot of water. I've read also that artificial sweeteners do not cause insulin spike, if anyone has research that says otherwise feel free to paste it here. I asked at diabetics forum and they all agree that they do not need insulin after ingesting one. Argument that there is some filler is quite poor, cause these pills wigh like 0,001g. I am using aspartame, maybe I can give it up, but if there is no real reason to…Thanks for all the answers!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but diabetics problem does not like with something that spikes their insulin, i.e. artificial sweetner, but something that causes rise in blood suguar, i.e. carbs. Diabetics are diabetic after all, because they either cannot produce their own insulin, or their insulin does not work properly, so they then have to take exogenous insulin to be able to absorb their sugar. But if they were take an artificial sweetner that then caused a small insulin spike, it's not like that is the same as if they took in a table spoon of sugar that they then could not metabolize due to their defective or non-working insulin. That is my understanding of it anyways. Maybe I'm wrong, if so I would appreciate the correct explanation from someone more knowledgeable.
