Paul-TKeymasterNow, I know this topic won't get many reads, however I do quite enjoy talking about myself. So here is a little bit about me.I am 21 years of age, and studying to get my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Nutrition. I am employed by my University Rec Center as an ACE certified Personal Trainer, and soon to be nutritional consultant. I've never been too fond of ACE - I will most likely switch my certification over to ACSM once my current expires. My job also allows requires me to operate a Bod Pod quite frequently, so I like to think I have some fairly uncommon insight to body composition.I lift weights and research diet and metabolism in my free time. My lifting goals are both body composition and strength based. Lately I've been learning in practice to carb cycle properly via CNS and CBL. I've only done two weeks of CN, and I've already seen some extraordinary changes. I've ton plenty of diets (perhaps eating patterns is a better term here) in the past, and they all pale in comparison to the simplicity of CN. Didn't count a single calorie, ate when I was hungry, and lost 3.5 inches around my waist in just over a month using CBL, and more recently CN. My last Bod Pod measurement put me around 11.4% bf, which is a far cry from the 16% I was at 40 days ago (and yes, I understand all the limitations of the Bod Pod measuring bf%). Bodyweight is currently hovering at about 183-187lbs during the week. Although I am on CN for now and dropping, my end of the year goal is to get to 200lbs. My lifting program as of late has been PHAT, though this last week I switched to Shockwave as a change of pace, and a little less lifting volume that I probably don't need. I really enjoy ELECT sets on machines - I love going from a warmup to completion in a matter of minutes. I am also trying to up my bench, deadlift, and squat from my previous 1RM attempts (275, 425, 365 respectively) now that I've slowly been decreasing volume over the last month. Unfortunately, my numbers are quite low for the amount of time I put in. But, I think I can crush them now that I'm actually trying to "peak". I've been using 5/3/1 for my deadlift progression, and I think my max is well above 435 (depending on the day).I listen to all of Kiefer's podcasts (the longer the better :D), read most of the articles posted here (lately I've been going through and reading his sources), and have read/skimmed both CN and CBL. Though, most of my knowledge on the topic comes from the articles/podcasts.My favorite breakfast is none or Bulletproof coffee. Favorite backload/CN foods are white rice and cocoa/fruity pebbles, and sweet potatoes if I have them. I don't use much for supplements - mostly coffee, creatine, vitamin D, and occasionally whey. Well that's about all I can think to type up. I hope to add some good discussion and learn some stuff from this community.
