missmarceGuestfair warning, chica.ย I'm going to start every post towards you saying to stop doing HIIT.
I agree 100%.ย Ive said this in another thread, but it sounds like we have similar physiques and goals. Ive been backloading for a few months now and have not gained any fat. Although my goal has been to gain muscle, Ive actually lost a few pounds, but dont really look smaller, so there is some sort of recomp happening. To that effect, I have done zero traditional cardio in more than a year. I definitely think all that HIIT is impairing your goals. Eat, lift, rest, repeat.

Lesli BortzParticipantI'm already +1 this.Haven't read the other posts so here is my initial feelings - from a female perspective as well. You want to add muscle - can't do that doing too much cardio. I am on CBL SA and have NEVER done cardio in 11 weeks.I would also guess because you're posting this that you may not be eating enough on DB and then you add too much cardio and create a difficult combination.I do sympathize with getting fat. Here's the thing I'm finally accepting. It doesn't happen overnight. You also have the tools with CNS/prep phase/detox to get it off really fast if you freak out and can't handle CBL.You mentioned in some other post, I believe, that you felt ill doing the ULC for too many days and stopped it. Another reason to drop some of the cardio. I bet the whole thing is stressing you out which adds all sorts of other problems. If DB is crazy then you might like SA better. You get a few ULC days and a few CBL days. I have ABSOLUTELY put muscle on and HAVE NOT added fat. I comment all of the time in my posts how amazed I am that I don't put fat on when I have some serious CBL nights. I may not lose fat very fast but I certainly don't put it on. Kiefer has said this over and over and from personal experience, it's just plain true.As for ice cream - it can work. I eat some crazy foods if you peruse my log. My husband thinks I'm insane and is shocked that I'm not getting fatย ๐ฎJust my few cents.

Lesli BortzParticipant1) I don't remember seeing that, where is it?2) sounds like you are really stressed (even if you don't think so), so your central nervous system is probably not in good shape.3) you're probably doing too much training in general. 4) have you seen Alex Navarro?ย She does exactly zero cardio.
Yes, it's in the book. However Kiefer often mentions that he didn't create it for women. I HATE cardio with a passion so I'm determined to do it without cardio. What I've found is that it's what everyone has been suggesting and listening to the podcasts helps. Kiefer did seem to pride himself that Alex doesn't do cardio...only more motivation for me to stay away. If I find that I get fat (which hasn't happend) I will try adding cardio but so far it's unnecessary. And let me add that I'm 5'11" 162lbish and when I had an ULC day yesterday I got down to 159 by the end of the day and am probably back at 162 after my backload last night. The scale is just numbers. I looked great yesterday and today. Seemed to lean out a little yesterday but then my muscles were fuller today. It's actually kind of fun. He says it on page 185... suggestions for females...Sent from my DROID Pro using Tapatalk 2
