Goran NovakovicMemberOk Guys, I've been doing the CBL for about 2 weeks now and Ive noticed some results:My CBL protocol:I workout at 8-9pm 2 days a week (Weekdays) and in the Morning 2 days a week (Weekends).Weekdays 8-9pm workout:- ULC until about 8pm when I work out, with fasting in the morning 7 am till 1-2pm (I have coffee with butter and MTC oil (Bulletproof coffee)), I've been having mozzarella cheese for lunch at work for the protein and fat content but might not be the best thing to eat for cutting down!-After workout I eat 40/60g Protein + 100g Dextrose + Creatine.- About an hour or 2 after Post Workout Shake I eat some rice pudding I make with rice and milk.- Before bed I hit another 40.60g Protein shake. Results:Ive noticed that at the beginning I was getting slightly more ripped and bigger but now I seem to be getting a little softer, I was thinking this could be because of the 100g dextrose, or the Rice pudding, but also the Mozarella cheese, Ill be cutting out the cheese and looking at my results then Ill be halving the Dextrose if it does not improve from there.G

FairyGuestAlso experiment with having more dextrose. Having too few carbs could be the problem. Are you lifting heavy enough?

Igor VidovicParticipantMozzarella will be ok for lunch if it's added with bacon or ground beef but all by itself it's not the best option. +1 on more carbs. Book says slam the carbs and that's what you should try and do.

Goran NovakovicMemberCheers guys, will definitely be adding more carbs, might slam down another 50g dextrose shake an hour or two before bed, maybe eat some fries as well after gym.The book mentions eating a carb meal an hour before workout if you workout really late, so I might try that and see the effect? The problem I have with the mozzarella is I eat it at work and we dont hav a kitchen so I cannot make anything along with it which is annoying, I do munch up a bunch of butter with it to up the fat.Been doing some research on dairy and apparently everything bar cream and hard cheese raises insulin as its key benefit for growing infants (human or animal) so might not be the best thing to eat when doing ULC.Definitely lifting heavy! Will be taking a picture tonight and some measurements so I can compare in a couple weeks of extra carbs!

businessGuestits the excess glucose! I did this for a week and yea I woke up fuller and harder but back off for a few days and watch and feel yoursefl get fatter! it takes your body 36 to 48 hours to process all those carbs and the water retention was a mother fucker to get rid of. im gna stick to a more john meadows aproach and just do carbs around my workouts.
