Big_RParticipantso i haven't had the extra cash to buy the CBL book, but i did by CNS a while back.My question is... i'm currently 205, pretty lean (not sure what % but happy for once in my life) and wanting to get back up to 230 like i was. Should i be eating heavier in the AM, meaning more fat/protein ULC meals or should i be slamming down more carbs/fat/protein in the eveining meals? ............... or BOTH? HAi am trying to figure out which way i should "up" the calories while maintaining current body fat.**oh and if you are around 230-240 and also pretty lean, i would love to hear your experiences/advice.**

Craig jonesParticipantThere is a few things you can do according to the book. Like you say, eat more both in the pre and post workouts. Also start eating earlier in the day. The shakes Keifer recommends would also help with this. In the book it explains how to do either strength accumulation or density bulking. What you are trying to do now is obviously density bulking and there is a difference between the 2. I really would recommend getting the book. Gives you micro nutrient guidelines for certain weights an this would be a great place to start for you. I bought the book on offer for £50 / $70. It is expensive for what you could actually read in about 2 hours but it is so informative and I'm not even gona try the cbl till I fully understand it. I keep reading it and the brain is gradually taking it in.I had great results before I got the book with strength accumulation but I was actually trying to density bulk, so there is a big difference between the 2, all be it subtle.Definitely buy it!!!!!!!

Big_RParticipanttrust me i want to, but i haven't even bought protein powder in 2 months… just cant afford it right now. I am doing the density bulking actually. i am up a few pounds already... just kind of using information i gather throughout the forums until i can buy the book.

Big_RParticipantcool.so i'm usually akin to skipping breakfast, i wake up at 8 and eat nothing then have Coffee/1TBSP MCT @9:30 and eat about 40/40 or 50/50g meal of fat/protein such as Steak, cheese, avocado, nuts ... no more than 4/5 carbs. should i be eating another meal such as this instead of the Coffee/MCT @ 9:30? I've been seeing results with this combination but if eating another meal instead off my 9:30 is optimal then hey.... LOL my stats are 6'0, 206 on empty stomach - somewhere between 13-15% if i had to guess.

Craig jonesParticipantOk, let's see. Bare in mind I'm not kiefer and hopefully someone else will chime in if I'm leading you on a bum steer.I personally would have the coffee on waking @ 8. Maybe put a touch of butter in too. What time you eat depends on the time you finished eating the night before. Kiefer recommends 12-14 hour gap.(if your last meal was at 10pm have your 1st meal the following day at 10 or 12ish) I'm reluctant to give much more advice because I don't know what time you train.Hopefully I helped and if anyone noticed anything they could ad please feel free to ad.
