    Some raw lifters have a problem with the lockout of the deadlift. It usually means that the glutes are the weak link.

    I know that's what I said.  Deadlift style also determines if the lockout is weak.  In a conventional deadlift, the lockout is almost always the weakest part of the lift if the lifter rounds their shoulders/upper back a lot like what I do.

    I've worked with plenty of raw lifters with weak lockouts.  My point was knowing where you're weak and programming accessory work based off of that, not off of a generic template.

    Thanks for the advice guys.That's why my accessory template has a "plethora" of exercises listed for each muscle. That way I pick my weak link or maybe just something I like doing and hammer it more.Thanks again...a lot of good info here.-Z

    That's the way to do it.  Make sure they are exercises that work well for you.
