Hey guys, so I've been on CN for a while and have slowly gotten back into heavier, steadier training because of a knee scope I had done in December. I'm thinking I'll switch over to CBL maybe next week some time, but while I was rereading a few things I got confused at the Pre-Carb Meals Calculator section of the book. I want to be 175lbs, but in the book it says I should only get 133.4g of Protein (Hi) and 32.4g Fat. I'm a little confused, because although I'm using the Strength Accumulation Protocol shouldn't I still get my bodyweight in protein and should my Fat be down that low because that's literally 2 tablespoons of MCT Oil and then I'm at my limit for the day? Like I said I'm using SA protocol so I am trying the lean down instead of gaining any… Any thoughts? Thanks!-Mason

Right so the chart gives those protein and fat numbers as recommendations for what you should eat before your backload. There are two additional columns titled protein deficit which is the protein range you should shoot for with your evening carbs. Between those two protein numbers you will hit the amount of protein you should have in a day. The fat is a base recommendation plenty of people intake/need to intake more than what is suggested.
