Penny DannerParticipantMy 17yo old is at it again….he bought a preworkout without talking to me about it so I could get y'all's input. He bought this one:Cellucore C4 Extremehttp://www.vitaminshoppe.com/p/cellucor-c4-watermelon-30-servings-171-g-powder/eo-1007?sourceType=sc&source=FG&adGroup=40-60&keyword=EO-1007&cm_mmc=Google+Shopping-_-Product+Listing+Ads-_-40-60-_-EO-1007&cvosrc=cse.google.eo-1007&cvo_cid=38178165589&gclid=CjgKEAjw8MqcBRCsv5Kf8NCUwlgSJADL4ihhxDMl9774LzNNteHALPOcUMszwnUNruc31iPa8VkONfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds#.U5NfXvldWSoI told him I'd rather him drink caffeine and take the powdered creatine monohydrate....unless you two think this is okay or have other recommendations.

Richard SchmittModeratorIt'll be fine to use ma'am. It is cheaper to buy caffeine powder to get similar effects needed.

Okay, thanks, guys! And Trevor, sorry I messed up your name in the Subject line! LOLYeah, I'm cheap too so I told him we need to find something else cheaper like caffeine and creatine!

Richard SchmittModeratorYou make what ever you can work when you're on a budget. While some things look expensive at first, i.e. True Nutrition protein, it is better and honestly cheaper in the end compared to other items. We all learn some time.

Gotta love the honesty. Does creatine make a difference pre-workout? I thought as long as it was in your system, you got the benefits of it. I always have it post or before bed.
