NsharpKeymasterI'm starting over on CBL and doing the prep phase again. Just because i feel like i could of been more stricked and followed the rules better.I just had a couple of questions on protein consumption..1. After working out (on prep phase) whats the highest ammount of protein i can consume in one shake? I usually drink anywhere from 40-55 grams after a workout.2. Whats the max ammount of protein i should eat (from whole foods, not shakes) in 1 meal?

@pshannon, regarding question 2 where are you getting this from?
Well it depends. Multiple podcasts (especially the Nitimaki one) Kiefer stated that there really is no point, for muscle growth, in consuming more then 1g of protein. That doesn't mean that there are not other benefits, but for muscle growth the evidence is VERY clear that there is no benefit from more. The book states 1gIts in a lot of posts in the forum, so that looks like the consensus.

Jeffrey HansenParticipantTo add to this, in the 7/10/12 podcast he said the real food protein has long term beneficial effects to the muscles (24hrs?) whereas the protein powder benefits are faster but much, much shorter. It seemed he was referring to post workout? Anyone else catch that?

He asked how much protein in one meal. I have not listened to any biojacked episodes recently because I can't listen live, however I always heard Kiefer say 1.3 g/lb. It is possible he has since changed his reccomendation, but I still would say that is the max amount. Anyway, you can go beyond that amount of protein, there just won't be any benefit. Also where in the book does it say 1 g/lb?

Mixes great! Not clumpy unless you don't add enough water of course. Depends on the flavor. I only use vanilla so it comes out milky. Vanilla is great and I heard the others taste just as goodSent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Mixes great! Not clumpy unless you don't add enough water of course. Depends on the flavor. I only use vanilla so it comes out milky. Vanilla is great and I heard the others taste just as good
