So I get the majority of my protein at night, and downing close to an entire stick of Kerrygold to “keep the ratio 1:1” and prevent the insulin spike doesn't exactly appeal to me (I actually just had half a stick with some burgers and am heaving as we speak). With that in mind, how "bad" is the insulin spike of consuming protein at night during the ULC phase?  One out every three nights I train so it doesn't matter and is advantageous if anything.  It's the other nights I'm wondering about.-Adam

What protein source are you using? I have 80/20 Grass-fed beef and it's pretty close to 1:1 slightly favoring fat.

Yeah it's skirt steak, brisket, and/or short ribs.  The ground beef I'm exra careful about since much of the fat seems to cook off, but me overdoing it could explain why my stomach revolted (and that's saying a lot for me, since I've had 20 tablespoons of MCT oil in an hour before).I guess I could always do hollandaise sauce or something.-Adam

20tbsp of MCT!?!?! Jesus H Christ, I'd have to live in the bathroom.I'd recommend doing a sauce, I've been looking to do a homemade mayo myself lately.

What's in your mayo?  I try to keep food sources to a minimum and I use most of my carbs in the turmeric for afternoon ginger curry.  (Recipe will be coming out on Naomi's blog soon).Right now here are the only foods I eat:TurmericGingerCoconut MilkGF ButterGF Beef--Was thinking of doing hollandaise sauce with raw pastured eggs, melted butter and a few spices.

Those protein sources are fine.  Fry them in some fat and you will be golden.  Yea and 20 tablspoons of MCTs was probably not the best idea.  Hell, I get a stomachache from one tablespoon.

I guess I could some EVOO to the list, and use ACV as well for the mayo.
