usopenKeymasterI was reading and saw this question asked and i wanted confirm i was understanding correctly.my current weight is 267 my goal is 250. I would need eat 250g of protein a day and 1/2 of that per g in fat is that correct, and if so how would that apply to my carbnite once a week.

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorThat's for CBL, not CNS.Carb nite is still 1:1 in gram during the week. You can work to keep your carb nite it self at a 1:1 in calories if you want.

Jas0nGuest1:1 in calories is just a simple way to accommodate for the caloric load coming from the BL whilst maintaining a reasonable overall daily caloric intake. Since CNS is only fat and protein on daily basis (excluding CN day) your calories should be considerably higher ala 1:1 of F:P in grams.

usopenGuestgreat thanks, i started cns 4 weeks ago and i'm down 6 pounds, last question. i was reading a part on line and it mention starting carbnite before the normal times lets say normal being 4 & 6, starting @ noon in order to get a desired amount of carbs in between the window of 6 to 8 hours so you don't feel like you're over stuffed versus starting later in the day. Any thoughts on this, thanks again.

For me I just have 1 tbsp of MCT oil in coffee 1-2 times before I start (@5) as well as 30g of fish oil.

If you're losing weight and you feel good after your carbnite then I wouldnt change anything. I personally start around 1 or 2 and continue up until midnight; I find I cant get enough carbs in the traditional window to keep my strenghts gains going up, due to that over stuffed feeling.. this is something I found gives me better results, but it may work different for you.
