I don't drink coffee I use caffeine powder instead. What besides water do you mix up your shakes with, just curious if Gatorade or milk would b ok. Thanks

Powdered gatorade would be fine, as the carbohydrate source is pure dextrose.If you have to use milk, be sure to use skim as the plan calls for attempting to limit fat intake in the immediate post workout window.
