Right now I have a protein shake as a snack throughout the day and then another shake with the addition of Dextrose, Creatine & Leucine for POST-workout. I currently use 'ICE Whey' by Horleys. http://www.horleys.com/ViewProduct.aspx?id=3I am considering changing to 'Amino Charged WPI' http://www.international-protein.com/flavour/amino-charged-wpi/Will this be a beneficial change for me? Or is there a better brand out there that is far superior to both? Not too familiar with protein, would just like good recommendations & advice! Thanks!PS. I am Carb Back-Loading.
Bumping your thread after 20 mins? Really? 😛The one you currently use (ICE whey) has less carbs and more protein. They are not that different though, even if the other one has a little more arginine and glutamine. I would probably take the ICE.
No whey during the day, read the book find a good protein supplement that matches what you're supposed to be getting like hydrolsyates and/or isolate. With Leucine and Creatine.
Horleys Ice gives you 4.25g leucine & 2.58g l-glutamine, would adding extra make a great effect?Ive read the book, but Im still struggling with understanding all the labels etc. If I bought casein to drink throughout the day and then used Horleys Ice with some dextrose Post-workout would this be suffice? - along with the additions of creatine, leucine, glutamine and MCT oil?Sorry - chronic newbie for protiens
