What is best to do?I had only coffee/hwc until my workout today and it is now 1pm. I'm drinking my PWO shake now but should I have eaten instead? OR can I eat AND do the PWO shake. I was planning on just doing the PWO shake and then whenever I got hungry in an hour to 2, eat then.Thanks!
Both. Guzzle your whey (and whatever other bells and whistles you throw in your PWO shake) after the workout, then get some solid food in you when you can.

Generally for me when I lift I have the PWO Shake and wait anywhere from 15-45 minutes to have something else. Depends on how hungry I am. So I think you're alright to do either or.
