I have a question. I am new to this forum and I am interested in doing the CNS which I started about a month ago, unfortunately, I had a cheat day of Chinese food about 4 days before the official carb nite. I had Generl Taso's chicken and crab rangoons. I probably should have restarted the orientation phase then right? I continued doing ULC until Saturday, hoping that by pushing my carb nite out a few days that I would not have to re-do the whole 10 days. I do not think that worked in my favor because I did not see any real changes. What is everyone's experience. I have been visiting here almost everyday for pointers. I also fast for about 12 to sometimes 14 hours from my last meal of the night. Should I keep doing this? Also, I love eggs should I give those up? Also, cheese- I like to have my cheese sticks for snacks. Should I leave those out too? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Needless to say, I am starting the 10 day phase over again which should have been done a month ago!

You need a FULL 10 days of the Prep-Phase...so yeah that dreaded 10 days needs to be completed. You can do so, however if you can have the coffee mixture at the 12th hour mark, then possibly have that fatty protein meal 2-3 hours later. No you don't have to give up eggs, just be sure to cook them in butter, coconut oil, Ghee, and/or bacon fat.You can keep cheese, but if you notice bloat or stalling take those out. Dairy is the usual culprit to that along with plant fats.

Tex is it ok to eat eggs boiled in just water if you eat bacon or steak along with the eggs?  Also can you drink as much black coffee as you want during the prep phase and in between carb nights?  I read somewhere that caffeine causes a rise in blood sugar.

    1) I have done that before and just had some butter on the side to dip in mustard or something along that nature. I'm pretty sure it's ok to eat it with steak or beef or bacon, but I always tell myself better safe than sorry. As long as each meal is 1:1 in grams I don't see a problem in it.2) Oh yes drink up...if you can't sleep you'll know why 😉3) Caffeine in coffee is about 100-150mg per cup I believe add more to that I'm sure will increase certain effects.

Nice!  Just what I wanted to hear 🙂  I've got that fruity taste in my mouth and even plain water tastes sweet, so i'm hoping that means it's working right haha.
