Hello, Tomorrow will be my first carb nite and I know you are supposed to have a full 6 hours of carb nite, so I should be starting around 4pm. The only issue is that I train on Wednesday nights from 6pm-8pm. Is it ok to still start the carb nite at 4pm and then train and then continue with carb nite after? I know i won't be able to fit in 6 hours of carb nite if i wait until i'm done with training at 8pm. Is it more important to train without the first meal of carbs or is it more important to start the carb nite on schedule and keep it going even with training in between?Thank You!!K  🙂

I think this is why most people have their carb nites on the weekends so they can get the full hours an day w/ a workout. Can you push back your carb nite? K  🙂

In the future I will def plan my carb nites for fridays/weekends so i don't run into this problem it's just that I started the 10 day reorientation on a monday and thus my first carb nite will be tomorrow, oops! But anyways, I could def push back the carb nite until after my training but this means i would be starting it at 8pm. It is ok if i don't do a full 6hours of carb nite? because that would put me at eating until 2am. Thank you for your responce!

For CNS you don't need to lift or anything. You can start without even training that day. Can you possibly do that workout the next morning? It will help deplete your glycogen stores to help fat loss started again.

I would try to push it back. The only reason I am hesitant to say this is because of the hormonal response you need from the carbs. Maybe push it back to Friday if you can!

Tex – I actually don't lift on wednesdays, i work at a martial arts academy and i have a class i need to lead at 6pm-7pm which is all bodyweight type circuts. the second hour i train in muay thai so that's the reason i need to be there those specific hours unfortunatelyshannon - are you saying push the carn nite back or push the workout back? I guess i could always push my carb nite to thursday because my training ends at 530 that day, (but as you know, i am jonsing back for some carbs already lol!)Thanks again for all your help guys, almost didn't even ask about it but i'm glad i did!

Push the Carb Nite back! I know your itching….its a terrible feeling, but if you want to the carb nite to be 7 days after this one that would put you in the same predicament. Push it back to the day you want it in the future. A few more days will not kill you, and may even help.
