Quick question on MCT Oil?

    How much are you guys taking with your AM Accelerator/Pre-Workout?Is 10g or 3/4 of a TBSP enough for pre-workout.

    Yes, I concur, 1TBSP or thereabouts is fine, don't need to be too precise. I love MCT… I find myself with more energy for workouts now than before when I used to have carbs.  😀

    Why did you pick 10g or 3/4 of a tbsp? Why are you shying away from the recommended 15g or 1 tbsp?RB

    10g is the recommended amount by the book, I believe.

    No sir. Just double checked. Both the AM (p125) and the pre workout (p131) state 1 tbsp. I used to hate melting it and then measuring it with a tablespoon so I poured it out onto a scale and got just shy of 15g.RB

    Well I'm glad you checked then. Regardless, 10 or 15 will suffice and will depends on your preference and goals. I would use a little more for CO though.

    I was just curious if he picked that amount for digestive reasons. I always check with the book. It wouldn't be the first time I was doing it wrong.RB

    Keifer wrote an article after writing the book that mentioned using 10g of MCT oil.  That's probably where the OP got the recommendation.
